Elsa

As promissed in my previous picture, where I showed a make-up inspired by the Queen Elsa, here is my version of this amazing character.

When I was 12, I had to read "The Snow Queen", by Hans Christian Andersen, for a school project, and the whole idea of the Ice Queen character hit me like a train! I simply loved the aesthetic I created in my mind.
Here where I live (Brazil) is a very tropical country, so a land full of ice and snow is something far away and we can only see this in movies. When Disney's Frozen came out in 2013 and I found out that the character Elsa was going to be based on that very same Ice Queen, I wanted to cosplay her as soon as possible. But since she became a very popular character, a lot (I mean... A LOT!) of girls around here started doing the cosplay, so I left the idea behind for some time and started to work on a design by myself. And this is what I could create. Something based on her, but not 100% similar to the animation. I searched in many YouTube videos people posted with Disney parades, I studied the moves of the actresses who played Elsa in Disney parks. I also didn't want to wear those large circle lens almost every Elsa cosplayer wears, so I went for the same contacts I wore for the make-up inspired by Elsa. So here is it, 12 years after I knew The Snow Queen, I am here doing my version of Queen Elsa of Arendelle.
